Job Description
Cleveland-Cliffs Columbus Coatings is hiring a Section Manager Maintenance. This role provides supervisory control over the Maintenance Engineers and Maintenance Technicians, ensures that quality products are manufactured safely and on-time while at the same time maintaining effective employee relations and equipment that is operated and maintained efficiently.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Manages Maintenance Engineers and Maintenance Technicians. Oversees Plant Operations, Manufactory Processes and Equipment Maintenance
- Directs and coordinates the development of short and long-range operation/maintenance plans, budgets, and performance targets
- Prioritizes tasks within the constraints of the safety standards, environmental regulations, production needs, budget, and labor agreements
- Acts as a consultant, provides technical and mechanical support, periodically works in the operational areas
- Collaborates with other departments regards to internal/external customer requests for corrective actions or continuous improvement of projects, process efficiency, product quality and cost effectiveness
- Promotes and encourages teamwork and high-performance standards throughout the section and oversees the disciplinary action. Designs and leads training programs. Conducts performance reviews.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 3-5 years of experiences in a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Managerial experience in a steelmaking facility
