Job Description
Cleveland-Cliffs, Inc. Mansfield Plant is seeking a Process Control Engineer. The Process Control Engineer is responsible for our application and HMI Process Control systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial Process Control systems programming, be self-motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment with complex operations.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Design, programming, documentation, and support for the existing system
- Transition systems from VMS-based platforms to virtual VMS and Windows platforms
- Responsible for addressing issues that may impact production or system reliability
- Implement system upgrades
- Proactively handle quality and reliability issues
- Work with vendors on products and performance issues
- Identify and manage activities necessary to maintain equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Computing Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 to 5 Years of manufacturing Experience Process Automation Engineer
- VMS/Vax/Alpha experience
- .Net (VB, asp) Experience
- Microsoft DevOps Experience
