Job Description
Cleveland-Cliffs is currently seeking a qualified Engineer to join our Cleveland Works Quality team at the facility in Cleveland, Ohio. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the production of high-quality steel products, including hot-rolled steel, cold-reduced galvanized, and galvannealed coated products, serving the automotive, appliance, and other industrial markets.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Input steel routings into plant manufacturing systems
- Update databases pertaining to part entry
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the company (ex. Sales, Quality, Operations, and others)
- Serve as a point of contact for inquiries related to customer specs
- Provide support for Quality Management initiatives
- Conduct data analysis to assess and improve product capability
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science related engineering field.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving and leadership capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Effective typing and data entry skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering.
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Data reporting and/or programming experience
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems
- Experience working in a unionized environment

The salary range for this role is $70,000 to $92,500. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
